The story behind AmplifyU
Where this began
Working for one of the world's largest companies, I sat across from global stakeholders, senior executives, and world-class talent every day. I learned — by watching, by failing, by refining — what precise communication actually looks like under pressure. And how rarely it's taught.
My story — told in seven beats
AmplifyU's Story Architect uses the Pixar framework — seven narrative beats that turn any experience into a story that lands. Here's mine.
I was working for one of the world's largest corporate companies — navigating high-stakes conversations, global stakeholders, and rooms where how you communicate is as important as what you say.
I engaged with global stakeholders, senior leaders, and some of the most talented communicators in the world. I watched what separated the ones who were heard from the ones who weren't.
I became a mother of two small children. And everything changed. Time became the most precious thing I owned. Every meeting, every conversation, every sentence had to earn its place.
I realised that communication isn't just one skill among many. It's the skill that multiplies every other one. Clarity accelerates decisions. Stories build trust. Presence opens doors.
I looked for the tool I needed — science-backed, practically structured, designed for a real professional life. Something that fit inside fifteen minutes, not a week-long retreat. It didn't exist.
I built it. AmplifyU — fourteen deliberate sessions, built from sixteen years of lived experience, distilled into the fifteen minutes a day that change the rest of them.
My mission has been simple: help professionals communicate with clarity, confidence, and purpose — so they can work faster, influence more, and come home with something left to give.
My own story, built inside AmplifyU's Story Architect — the same tool every user gets on Day 4.
"Communication is the skill that
multiplies everything else.
And it can be built — deliberately,
in fifteen minutes a day."

Built from lived experience
AmplifyU wasn't built from a curriculum. It was built from the moments that shaped me — the high-stakes conversations, the visibility gaps, the pressure to be precise when everything else was pulling for my attention.
The lived experience
Negotiating with global partners, presenting to boards, navigating conflict with senior stakeholders — daily. There was no room for unclear thinking.
Day 6 gives you the science, the scripts, and an AI simulation to prepare for real conversations before they happen. Disagreeing with leadership, delivering difficult feedback, holding a position under pressure.
Day 6 · ComposureThe lived experience
In a large organisation, talent is never enough. The professionals who advance are the ones whose value is visible to the people who decide what happens next.
Days 10–11 cover the PIE model, the Halo Effect, and an AI-powered LinkedIn Brand Audit — giving you the strategy to close the gap between how you're seen and how you want to be known.
Days 10–11 · Presence & BrandThe lived experience
Working across cultures, seniorities, and competing priorities taught me that listening — really listening — is rarer and more powerful than any speaking skill.
Day 5 · ConnectionThe most influential people in any room aren't the loudest. They're the ones who make others feel heard — and then move the whole room with a single, well-placed sentence. Day 5 builds that skill from the ground up: Narrative Transportation, emotional resonance, and the listening that makes your words land harder.
The lived experience
Every successful pitch, budget request, and career conversation I've been part of had a story at its centre. Data alone has never moved a room.
Days 3–4 teach the SAR and Pixar frameworks — turning your experiences into stories that get remembered, respected, and acted on. Including the Story Architect tool used to build the story above.
Days 3–4 · StorytellingThe lived experience
I watched brilliant people be overlooked — not because they lacked skill, but because their value wasn't seen by the people who needed to see it.
Day 13 builds your exposure strategy: Weak Tie Theory, Sponsorship vs Mentorship, the Opportunity Map, and the Promotion Room simulation — revealing what leaders might be saying and building your plan to change it.
Day 13 · ExposureDesigned for a full life
AmplifyU was built in the margins of a full life. Two children, a demanding career, fifteen-minute pockets of focus between everything else. It is designed to be used in exactly the same way. Because real change doesn't require a retreat. It requires a system.
When you communicate well, you work faster, influence more, and come home with something left to give.
Every session
15 minutes. Science-backed. AI-coached. Built for the life you already have.
I finally understand why my ideas weren't landing. Three sessions in and I already speak differently in meetings. The Story Architect alone was worth it.
Senior Project Manager, Financial Services
The High-Stakes Conversations module alone was worth it. I had a difficult review coming up and the simulation helped me prepare for questions I hadn't even thought of.
Director of Engineering, Tech
I always knew visibility mattered but didn't know how to build it. The Exposure module gave me a real strategy — not just advice. My manager noticed the shift within two weeks.
Principal Consultant, Strategy
A note from the founder
"Amplify your voice. Lead with confidence. Thrive — at work and at home."
I believe — genuinely, without qualification — that every professional can become a better communicator. Not gifted. Not naturally smooth. Deliberate. Precise. Compelling. The ones who transformed their communication didn't do it through talent. They did it through practice, repetition, and a system that made their improvement visible. That system is AmplifyU. Fifteen minutes a day. Fourteen sessions. The skill that changes everything else.
